The common expressions

没门儿 (méi ménr)

      

This phrase is a colloquial way to say “No way” or “No chance” and literally means “no door.”

e.g.

你想让我帮你?没门儿! (Nǐ xiǎng ràng wǒ bāng nǐ? Méi ménr!) You want me to help you? No way!

他以为他能赢?没门儿! (Tā yǐwéi tā néng yíng? Méi ménr!) He thinks he can win? No way!

不可能 (bù kěnéng)

这事儿不可能是真的。 (Zhè shìr bù kěnéng shì zhēn de.) There’s no way this is true.

不行 (bù xíng)

      

This phrase means “not okay” or “no way” and is often used to refuse a request or suggestion.

e.g.

今天晚上出去玩?不行,我有事。 (Jīntiān wǎnshàng chūqù wán? Bù xíng, wǒ yǒu shì.) Going out tonight? No way, I have plans.

This phrase literally means “dreaming” and is used colloquially to say “No way” or “In your dreams.”

e.g.

你以为你能考满分?做梦! (Nǐ yǐwéi nǐ néng kǎo mǎn fēn? Zuò mèng!) You think you can get a perfect score? In your dreams!
