Ever walked into someone’s house uninvited and helped yourself to their food? Yeah, probably not a great idea. Join Goldilocks as she learns this lesson the hard way.
Don’t get tripped up on the way that “Goldilocks” is translated into Chinese. Her name is “金发姑娘” – or “Golden-hair Girl”. In this case, that is a proper noun, not a description.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl with golden hair. Her name was Goldilocks.
One day, she was playing alone in the forest. She saw a small house. The door was open, and there was no one inside. So she went in.
Inside the house, there were three bowls of soup. The first bowl was too hot, the second bowl was too cold, and the third bowl was just right. Goldilocks ate all of the third bowl.
Then she saw three chairs. The first one was too big, the second one was also too big, and the third one was just right. But when she sat on it, the chair broke.
She was tired and wanted to sleep. Upstairs there were three beds. The first one was too hard, the second one was too soft, and the third one was just right. She fell asleep on the third bed.
At that moment, the three bears came home! Papa Bear said: ‘Who ate my soup?’ Mama Bear said: ‘Who sat in my chair?’ Little Bear saw that his chair was broken and cried: ‘Who broke my chair?’
They went upstairs and saw Goldilocks on the bed. The little girl woke up, saw the three bears, and was extremely scared! She jumped off the bed, ran out of the house, and ran back home.
From then on, she never entered other people’s homes again.
